Vinod & Patricia
From London to Mysore, With Love: Vinod & Patricia’s Elegant Cross Cultural Celebration at Radisson Blu
— by Appennings Events
Some weddings begin with a flurry of planning. Others begin with a long-distance call, a vision across time zones, and two people in love trying to bring their cultures together in a place that feels like home.
Vinod & Patricia’s wedding was all of that and more.
With a tight timeline and international coordination, the Appennings Events team stepped in to handle everything except catering. From concept to execution, every detail was crafted with love, culture, and style.
Here’s what we took care of:
Held at the luxurious Radisson Blu 5-star hotel in Mysore on the 9th & 10th of February 2025, this celebration brought together Spanish warmth and Indian tradition, London charm and Mysorean grandeur. And while the journey to the big day had its share of logistical hurdles, what unfolded was a celebration none of us will forget.
Planning Across Continents, Cultures & Chaos
Vinod, originally from Mysore, has been living in London for years. Patricia, his lovely bride from Spain, was unfamiliar with the Indian wedding landscape. The couple was deeply in love but managing a wedding in India while juggling international flights, time differences, and cultural expectations? That’s where we came in.
Here’s what we took care of:
One of the first challenges Vinod faced was venue selection. With limited knowledge of the city and little time to explore options, he leaned on us for everything from scouting, reviewing, to finalising Radisson Blu, which offered both luxury and comfort for their international guests.
Throughout the five months of planning, Vinod was often on tight schedules flying in and out of India, constantly syncing with Patricia for approvals. It was hectic, high-pressure, and filled with moments where details could’ve easily slipped. But they didn’t because we were there for every single one.
Every Detail, Every Dream—Handled with Heart
From themed décor, curated photography and videography, DJ and sound-light setups, elegant furnishing, to makeup, volaga, invitations, hospitality, return gifts, and guest management, we took care of everything. Even last-minute changes in décor were managed without a hitch because when it comes to making a couple’s dream day come true, flexibility is non-negotiable.
The emotional highlight?
When Vinod walked into the venue and saw the décor for the first time, his smile said it all equal parts excitement, disbelief, and joy. And when Patricia’s family flew in from Spain, seeing their warmth and delight at the vibrant yet elegant Indian setting was truly rewarding.
Their couple’s reaction during the reception, surrounded by friends and family from both worlds, was pure magic. They laughed, teared up, and danced like they were finally home even though they were thousands of miles away from it
Words That Make It All Worthwhile
Post-wedding, guests shared their joy with us clicking photos, posting glowing reviews on our profiles, and stopping to say, “It was all perfect.”
Vinod and Patricia may have had to navigate more than most couples, but in the end, the blending of cultures, love, and celebration came together flawlessly.
